Alejandra Pizarnik is one of the most influential authors of our times in Spanish. In her own words, her writing is "dense and dangerous," a revolutionary experience for the reader - an internal and profound revolution, Gabriela Borrelli Azara writes in her epilogue, whose result is enigmatic.

This anthology is a compilation of Pizarnik's best prose, perhaps the least known aspect of her genre-bending work. As Luna Miguel explains in the prologue: "insisting that this isn't poetry is debatable, as you will see [...] Her short, strange tales are like long poems. They embody [Pizarnik's] poetic rhythms.
